A Secret Door

I used to photograph doors almost obsessively – and have several posts on this site about them. But for this week’s challenge from Sofia I wanted to simply show one door that I don’t think has been posted.

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

      1. I’m happy just to look. We’ve left the painter to crack on- he’s a nice guy but I’ve found it hard packing etc- and have made it as far as Faro. Currently ploughing through a warm passion cake drizzled in chocolate sauce. Start as you mean to go on, I say xx

        1. We need the house decorating, but OH hates being disturbed. And we can’t move furniture around like we used to. Eating passion cake sounds much nicer. When do you leave for the UK?

        2. Hadn’t realised you’d actually moved out and left him to it! That’s a grand idea. I can’t manage ceilings either and certainly not the vaulted ones. No good on ladders any more 😢 but I do have a tin of paint to cover up a interior granite wall that I dislike. Must jump to it.

        3. The outfit have done external stuff for us before so we trust them. I don’t relish coming home though, because there’s everything to rehang and move back. It’s like the Marie Celeste, with half our stuff out on the patio xx

  1. Oh my Jude!!! Looks to me like the elves have been working overtime on this one. Spectacular entry for the challenge – love it when you join us!
