Every week Sue from ‘A Word in Your Ear’ dips into her English Oxford dictionary and picks a word on the page that it falls open at. The challenge is to post a photograph, poem, story – whatever the genre you like best to describe what that word means to you.
This week’s challenge is WAITING (click to join in with the challenge)
I came across these sculptures at the Plainpalais tram station, in Geneva, Switzerland.
Oh, cool… I think they’ll be waiting a long time!
🙂
Great interpretation Jude 🙂
Thanks Sherri. I’ve been longing to use these pictures, this seemed the perfect challenge.
Good place for that sort of statue, at a station. Theme nailed once again Jude, well done!
As always, Pete. x
Haha, as I said to Sherri, I have been longing to use these. They are marvellous sculptures of people doing just that – waiting!
These brought a big smile to my face. So glad you used them for this prompt… they’re perfect!
Thanks FireBonnet – glad you liked them, they having been waiting a while for the perfect opportunity to be shared with everyone 😀
I love those sculptures, Jude. perfect for the challenge. 🙂
Thanks Sylvia. There they were, just waiting around at the tram stop!
