I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

You are never short of a photographed window Jude, and these are as good as always.
As ever, Pete. X
Thanks Pete, though I’m probably running short of windows now 🙂
Like these.. And it certainly looks a great place to visit!
It’s a place I drove past many times when I first came to live in Shropshire (sign on the M54) so in August 2009 on a visit I decided it was time to go and have a look! The weather was gorgeous so I didn’t go into the house. Another visit needed!
🙂
I love Victorian orangerys, great pics Jude 🙂 xx
I can only ever dream of owning a place like this!
You and me both 🙂
This is too beautiful but I don’t know that I would want to own this. Imagine cleaning those windows!
