I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Lovely light, nicely captured.
Thank you Tina. Truly golden light.
Beautiful photo Jude and perfect for the theme. Where do you get your button from?
From Carol, I think she borrowed it from someone else! Hope they don’t mind! Actually I went looking for this and found http://findicons.com/search/wordpress/2
several free icons. I guess someone just added the words.
Great, thanks for this Jude 🙂 xx
great photo.
Thanks Robert. What do you like about it?
I love the light and shadow play in these two images.
Thanks for getting back to me. It’s always useful to know why someone likes a particular photo. Or doesn’t!
xx

You’ll have to stop posting. I’m running out of superlatives for your photos. I’m also enjoying your interpretations of challenges.
I like to look beyond the obvious, but that’s not always possible. Glad you enjoy the photos Meg 🙂
Pretty! Nice take on the challenge, Jude.
These challenges always get me thinking. I wasn’t sure what to use, but I liked this image so hoped it would do. Thanks Carol – when do you leave Phoenix?
Friday! On my! Taking a break from sorting, packing, throwing stuff away, washing, panicking. I never, never, NEVER want to do this again!! Ever. Anyway, Friday. Arrive UK Saturday.
Well I wish you lots of luck and a good flight 😉
Send me a message if you ever get up here!
I will certainly do that! 🙂
You’ve done it again! This is spectacular, Jude 🙂 I could bathe in that light.
We were very lucky as this was on our first night. Had an early dinner so walked down to the lake afterwards and caught the sunset. I’ll write a post about the walk around the lake soon 🙂
