I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Stunning pic Jude!
Thanks Karen, the light was just right.
Beautiful interpretation of the challenge, Jude. 🙂
Thank you Sylvia, the Golden Hour 🙂
Lovely image Jude! Something about piers in the evening…. I need to find one soon 🙂
Thanks Sue – a lovely still evening and those jetties do draw the eye to the water. The lines, the reflections and the silhouettes; the peacefulness.
🙂
Wow. I love this time of day. There’s something magical about it.
When it is as still as this was and the sun disappears behind the hills leaving that golden light, life cannot be more perfect.
A fabulous capture by a talented photographer. 🙂
Aw, Tess you are making me blush 😳
Go ahead. Looks good on you. 🙂
Perfectly captured, just before it got too dark.Theme nailed Jude, and great photo into the bargain.
Regards as always, Pete. x
Cheers Pete. I thought a lot about this one – it certainly challenged me!
Such a beautiful capture Jude. It’s such a beautiful part of the day!
Thanks Janaline, your words are much appreciated 🙂
Wonderful mood in this image, Jude. And a great story and a lovely impression to rest my eyes on.
Sunny greetings from Cley, Dina
Many thanks Dina – means a lot to me that you like my photo 🙂
Really beautiful colours!
A real golden hour Aletta, 🙂
love the color and all those verticals with the waves and flow of the sky – nice………… 🙂
Thanks for your lovely comment Yvette.
Such a stunning photo Jude.
Thank you Sue! (BTW I borrowed the button from you – but I think you mentioned that it isn’t yours. Do you know who it belongs to so I can credit them?) No worries, I found that it is a free icon, and I guess someone just added the words.
Jude I’m not sure which button you are referring to. If it’s the WordPress Challenge button it’s not from me.
My mistake! Sorry – having a senior moment 😉
No worries.:)
It was Carol – well no wonder I get you mixed up – you are both mad as hatters 😉
Jude I’m not sure if that’s a compliment but if I’m like Carol that makes me happy. She is so hilarious and makes me laugh a lot. 🙂
Me too 😀
