I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Very nice Jude. Crisp and colourful.
Regards as always, Pete. x
Thank you Pete. Storm finished over there? Rained here during the night and dull today, but at least all my plants got a good soaking which they needed 🙂
Heavy rain all night, but showery and dull today. Got the grass cut just in time! x
Now it will grow about 6 inches in a day 🙂
Oh, wow, Jude- these are glorious! Would have been fine for ‘Vivid’ last week too 🙂
So many flowers could have fitted that theme Jo. I have a few photos which could have fitted this one too, but I saw these whilst looking for something else and thought that I’d like to post them. Should have gone on the flower blog really, but I thought I’d see how well they go down on here 🙂
They’re really beautiful. I’ve referred a couple of people to your benches recently. Will get around to ‘ process’ eventually. What follows? 🙂
As in next month? Or next challenge? 😀
(next theme is unusual benches)
Thank you for that. 🙂 It’s a rainy day again so I could transform a bench or two… after I’ve done my ‘walking’. Happy Sunday! 🙂
I have a few walks for you that I have to write up (once I get settled) but off on a garden tour today around town, and I do have another garden walk for you tomorrow 🙂
Gorgeous. They have started blooming in ‘my’ pond across the street. i’ll try to get a good photo!
Oh, do try!
Lovely!
Thanks Sue. Kew is an amazing place.
Ah yes, a while since I visited
Yes they are 😉
So glad you think so 🙂
Lovely water lilies, Jude!
Warm and rainy greetings from Cley! 🙂
Warm and wet here in Ludlow too Dina, but my containers are very grateful – they were looking a bit dry on my return despite asking my neighbour to water them 😦
They are exquisite, beautifully photographed as well 🙂
And of course will always be a reminder of Christine, even though these aren’t lotus flowers.
Glorious colours, especially the purple.
My favourite, though I do like the centre of the white one.
I don’t get it, Jude: these beautiful photos show me only various kinds of water-lily that are as lovely as their images. So – ‘off-centre’ ?
I know, it’s a fine line, but each image is a little to one side so not quite centred! But then I rarely centre an image so nothing new there.
Stringer never centred an image in his life, is all I can say …
Well it is OK to break the rules now and then, but I know what you are saying. How’s the website coming on? Or shouldn’t I ask about that either? 😀
You’re right again. Not a lot going well down here … 😦
Ah, don’t be too hard on yourself M-R. You’ll get there eventually.
Fabulous l.o.o.k. Eye-catching, crisp and trim.
Your offered photos are stunning, sharp and stunning. ❤ ❤ ❤
Nice new look, Jude. ❤
