Wordless Wednesday: retro

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude
That worked very well, Jude. Like an old glass plate, discovered in an antique shop!
Regards as always, Pete. x
Thanks Pete, I have so many castle photos I thought I’d have a play with one of them.
Great to play with those effects! It looks ancient. 🙂 I need to get a better photo editing program other than iPhoto!
This was an effect in PIXLR (free download), as it is quick and easy to use, I use Photoshop Elements for most of my editing, has everything I need, but lots of people use Lightroom (with RAW).
And I agree, it does look ancient (well to be fair it is from the 11th century)
Haha, yes, an ancient effect for an ancient place! 🙂
It may be old but this now looks more mysterious, foreboding, full of secrets. ❤ 😀 😀
…and courtyards echoing to the ring of steel and armoured knights.
I hear a story bursting to be told. ❤
Ah, I’m not so good with the words Tess, I rely on my photos to tell a story 🙂
Wonderful editing. Very effective in creating an antique feel.
This photo looks as if it’s been left in an attic for years, a good edit!
🙂
