I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  5. A perfect shot to accompany the day. We do a quiet celebration, but don’t buy into the frenzy. A nice Burgundy for me later, which I prefer to the fizzy stuff. Have a wonderful day.

    1. Yes, I was very lucky to see this, they were mock courting (same family so I assume it was mock, I’m not an expert in swan mating habits 😉 )

I saw on your blog you’re about ready to move to Cornwall. I know you’ve been looking forward to that for a long time. Good luck with your move!
