#WordlessWednesday
I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude

Beautiful owl, and indeed looks smart! 🙂
A very nice owl, Jude. I love owls, especially when they turn their heads completely around!
Regards as always, Pete. x
So wise…and so beautiful…
She’s a beauty.
Wow! Gorgeous!
He’s lovely. I have a favourite pic of Son, aged 11, with a barn owl on his shoulder. The bird was called Whisper.
She is a beautiful bird, I bet she’s very proud of her fabulous feathers.
I wish I could remember her name!
So pretty!
I love owls and the barn owls are so beautiful, even more so in flight.
Absolutely gorgeous, Jude!
Hope the trip was productive? Was going to send you an email but I thought you’d have better things to do with your time right now. 🙂
I’ll email you tomorrow Jo. Let’s just say that right now I am very tired, fingers very sore and bank account very empty!
Indeed!. What is it about owls that they (DO) look smart? Is it because of their non-blinking stare or their stillness. This is a gorgeous fellow (of maybe female). ❤ ❤
She is a she 🙂 I forget her name though.
I guess it must be their eyes. They are very beautiful creatures and I love to hear them calling at night. Sadly I don’t hear them where I live now.
That’s a shame, Jude. I like the haunting quality of an owl’s call. I can’t recall last time I heard one.
And another beautiful shot. I’ll confess my favourite owl in Harry Potter is Errol because he’s so UN-owl-like. 😀
I think you’d like this little lady, she poses so perfectly 🙂
