I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

And I thought you would post a photo of the SF-Oakland bridge, but never mind. This is fabulous, and if in colour it can work for today’s challenge too 😀
I will post one of the bridge – just working on it now – I’ll check out today’s challenge too 🙂
They do look very tiny indeed, Jude. I like the shadows on the sand. 🙂
it was the shadows that attracted my attention 🙂
Ah, Tenby. Great beach, good fish and chips, fond memories. Have you ever walked back up the steps from the beach? That was a climb, as I recall.
Regards as always, Pete. x
A beauty in black and white 🙂 🙂
I don’t know if it’s just the effect of b&w, but the shades make me think of giant shards of glass or ice … a rather chilling perspective …
It must be the B&W – interesting.
I would have guessed north Cornwall! Were yo standing on a cliff? All I can remember of Tenby is the curve of a bay with ice cream colours houses around it. Hope the sun shines on you tomorrow x:-)x
Not a cliff, but in the town above the harbour, it is on a hill so quite high above this beach, I liked Tenby, but it is awful for parking in, a lot like St Ives.
Yes, me too. 🙂 Nice image, Jude.
The photos plays tricks on the mind. No matter how long I look it is hard to believe those are actually people!
