I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Autumn is coming. 😊
That’s a pretty one! Wistful, somehow. 🙂 🙂 It’s going to be anything but silent around here. We’ve got former neighbours coming for coffee at 10. Half of the paint is scraped off the back patio walls and the tiles on the roof patio are 2/3rds cleaned. We need another week! Good job they know us 🙂 Have a nice day, Jude.
Goodness, busy for a Sunday!
On a Sunday? Shame on you! Bad enough my neighbour has decided to mow her lawn!
It was a great day. Coffee with Dianne and Martin, a few hours at beautiful Praia Verde then back to the slow cooker 😃😃
You and that slow cooker! Do you never use a BBQ? Glad you got out instead of working all day, and how’s the cough?
Not good at BBQ and Mick is totally uninterested. Besides which lizards live in the chimney and we hate to disturb them. Cough not great but I’ll live 😃😃
No good coming to yours then for grilled sardines 😀
Nope! We’ll have to eat out, as you’re not a slow cooker fan. 🙂 🙂
I don’t mind a good chicken curry 🙂
That woodland does look suitably silent, Jude.
Best wishes, Pete. x
🙂
I googled this one for Nina, but it says spend around 30 minutes there, would you agree?
It is not a large area, we just went there for a walk in the late autumn as a change from Butser Hill. I’d say 30 minutes – 1 hour is about right.
Hmm, lovely autumnal view
Taken several years ago when we lived in the area and used to try and get out for a walk every weekend.
Very good!
Love the light and colours, so serene.
