Time for another square month hosted by the lovely Becky. The photos don’t necessarily have to be of a timepiece, but are open to interpretation to reflect time in some way, or sayings such as ‘the passing of time’, ‘a stitch in time’, or time running away from you.
Day Eight: A Stitch in Time
To join in with the Squares challenge please visit Becky for instructions. Remember the only proper rule is that the photo must be SQUARE.

Beautiful 🙂 if only I could stitch!
Part of a textile exhibition. I don’t sew either, though I have in the past, but not embroidery since school days!
I remember sewing a sampler for my Mum at school. There were holes punched into the cloth, to guide the pattern, and make it easier. She loved it, and I wish I knew what had happened to it.
Best wishes, Pete. x
I remember making a tea tray cloth for my mother. Mostly cross stitch and French knots!
Oh, a lovely colourful stitch or a hundred
Lovely piece of art. I do love how some artists can work wonders with fibre 😀
I think you’ve dropped one or two 🙂 🙂
Now you are being picky!
Sorry 😕 I’m not much good with modern art 〽🍰🌹🌳🌷 xx
😀
I had a cross stitch phase some years ago, but I’d like to try some really artistic stitching one day. It probably wouldn’t work though!
Why not? You are very creative and talented. I quite liked this piece.
Thankyou, I’m also very slapdash! For me this one is too jumbly, no one area draws the eye.
Well you are seeing only a cropped version don’t forget and as Jo mentioned, it is rather abstract.
