This is farewell to my series of postcards from America. I shall leave you with one last view of the iconic Bay bridge as depicted on one of the lovely Heart installations in Union Square.
It won’t however be farewell to posts about my USA trips as I still have several ideas and photos that have yet to be published.
Great placing of the shiny heart by whoever installed it, and a beautiful capture from you! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete. x
There are several dotted around Union Square Pete, all with iconic San Fran images on them. Hard to get a photo without someone in front though!!
A nice finish to this series Jude
Thanks PP. I have enjoyed sifting through my US pictures and hope that I have managed to give a good impression of the country.
That’s a lovely one, Jude! I thought you’d bought a Christmas tree decoration for a moment there. 🙂 🙂
What me? Christmas decorations? Although saying that I do actually have a box of six painted hearts. Not with the Bay bridge though.
🙂
I have some beautiful hand crafted Polish ones but they’re too big for my wee tree 😃🎄🎅💕
Oh, nice one!
One without a person in front – though you can see feet behind!
Yes! 😀
Interesting photo, Jude, of that reflection in the heart. 🙂
Thanks Cathy. There are several hearts in Union Square with different iconic images of SF painted on them. Now to think of some photo posts for next year 🙂
Good luck!
How clever. At first glance I thought it was a reflection.
No, just a painting.
Nice!! What a great idea too, perhaps as a fundraiser with the hearts auctioned off afterwards. We’ve had owls and Easter eggs and giraffes done like that here, but I do like the idea of hearts..
