Another photo essay from Paris, France – this time of the wonderful sculptures and statues that can be found in a relatively small area along the River Seine.
I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

Nicely done collage, Jude! I suspect you could fill pages with Paris sculptures. I recognised a couple 🙂 🙂
Great collection and idea!
Glad you like it Fraggle 🙂
Well done with the idea to put them all together, Jude. That worked well.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Too many to write about each location individually, though some will appear in other posts.
Beautifully presented – great idea.
Thank you 🙂
I love statuary, especially the realistic ones which look like the person is about to get up and walk away.
I think Paris was where my love of sculpture began.
There is a lot of it!
There are so many fluid lines in Parisian sculptures. Great captures, Jude. 🙂
Thanks Cathy!
It’s like a feast for the eyes, all the sculptures, freestanding and those adorning buildings. And then to imagine how much effort went into creating them. I love Paris.

Paris is a lovely city I must admit.
