Su Leslie (aka Zimmerbitch) invited me to join her and other bloggers posting a travel photo a day for ten days. The deal is I also invite someone else each day to join in, and ping-back to my post. But as several bloggers I know are already busy with the challenge I am going to resort to inviting “anyone who feels like joining in”
That’s lovely. So simple and peaceful.
I fell in love with the Californian missions, wish I had managed to see them all.
I don’t know anything about them.
I have several posts about them if you have time / are interested.

Lovely 🙂
The ‘quiet’ photos from America do make me regret never having visited that country.
Best wishes, Pete. x
There are some lovely places, even in the busy cities.
I love the California missions, and I love this photo with the flowers in the foreground! 🙂
They are fab places aren’t they? So tranquil. The echiums really make this scene.
They really do! Beautiful. 🙂
Oooh, I like this!
I was very pleased to be able to return to Carmel as on our first visit we were too late to enter the Mission. I made a special drive from the Silicon Valley to get here.
Exncellent!
This is so beautiful and tranquil. More and more that what I seek out when travelling.
All of the Californian missions that I managed to visit were so tranquil. I love them. Such a shame I never got to visit them all, but my days of going to the US are probably over now. Unless I can persuade my daughter to take me on a road trip some time…
That sounds lovely 🙂
There is so much in this picture – it’s one you can almost stroll around.
And in reality a very lovely place to stroll around.
