Life in Colour

This month we are looking for Brown. The colour of Mother Earth.

This week I went out looking for countryside browns in my local area. There was no shortage of them, including mud.

What browns can you find in your world?

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. I went out with the intention of capturing some new browns. It feels good to have a purpose, though I am still using the phone rather than taking the camera.

        1. Having to walk the same lanes every day can be boring so I am trying to focus on something different each time.

        2. Nope, and osteoporotic me needs to be cautious. But the main reason I’m not out is because I don’t-trust-people-to-distance

        3. It’s not too bad here, but I was taken aback last week when reaching for some ham in Asda a young lad (staff) came and stood shoulder to shoulder with me to refill the stock. And he wasn’t wearing a mask! I know some people can’t for health reasons, but then they should keep a good 2m away from anyone else. I was not impressed.
