This month we will be looking for Yellow. A bright and happy colour and often associated with spring. The sun in the sky, heat and light. What yellows can you find in your world?
Colman’s is an English manufacturer of mustard and other sauces, formally based and produced for 160 years at Carrow, in Norwich, Norfolk. The plant closed its doors in July 2019. The last run of Colman’s mustard jars on the line replaced the “best before” date with the message “Norwich’s Last. By Its Finest. July 24th 2019”

I didn’t realise that Colman’s had packed up. But you have produced a very mellow yellow tribute
They haven’t packed up, just moved the factory elsewhere. Away from Norwich I think.
Europe ;0 ?
Germany and Derbyshire I think. Owned by Unilever. I wonder if the words “of Norwich” have been removed now. I shall have to check.
Yes, I’ll remember to look too – maybe …
Such a shame when the classic products close their doors. I don’t think Colmans mustard is over here, but I remember my Mam always using it, especially in curried sausages. I think we are coordinated with our posting Jude as here is my weekly contribution. https://retiredfromgypsylife.wordpress.com/2021/02/14/life-in-colour-february-2-yellow-in-art/
What a shame it’s closed but you’ve highlighted the yellows perfectly! I’ve got one yellow in amongst the photos in my new post today.
That factory has closed, the original one, but production continues elsewhere.
Love those irritability and grouchiness cures! You mean you can’t get those any more? Criminal! 🙂 🙂
Production continues but not in Norwich, moved to Germany and Derbyshire. I could do with a grouchy cure! 😂
There must be more grouchy Germans 🤣🤣
Brilliant – the most delicious of yellows.
Some yellows from me.https://mywanderings.travel.blog/2021/02/14/yellow-flowers/
Thanks Teresa 😊
Excellent! And a tribute to Colman’s
A fascinating shop/museum. I’d have bought a few items had we not been on the road.
