Life in Colour

This month we will be looking for Yellow. A bright and happy colour and often associated with spring. The sun in the sky, heat and light. What yellows can you find in your world?

Thinking about the colour wheel, there is nothing so pleasing as contrasting colours, such as the blue and yellow in this photo. The Belisha beacon and the yellow lichens are an added bonus to this composition.

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. I had a metallic yellow Corsa, which everyone called green. It was a citrusy yellow. I loved it. Made me very happy. This egg yolk colour is a bit too bright for me.

  1. Love that car for its ‘get you in the eye’ effect. I’ve always gone for more subdued colours in a car but I must say, that one looks good.
