This month we will be looking for Green. Green signals new life in spring, fresh green leaves, the shoots of new bulbs emerging from the soil. It is a cool and soothing colour, bringing us moisture and shade.
“Meanwhile the mind,
from pleasures less,
Withdraws into
its happiness…
Annihilating all that’s made
To a green thought
in a green shade“~ Andrew Marvell

The grass on the arches is a wonderful shot, and I like the houses too. I’m glad to be looking for green this month – we’re in need of something to cool down the temperature. For my first try, I’ve gone down the easy route… or should that be root?https://susanrushton.net/2021/03/08/life-in-colour-green-leaves/
As new life begins again in the natural world I figured green was a good choice for March. Though I am going to be looking at other green subjects 💚💚
The Irish will be delighted too!
LOVE green, Jude. Those arches are incredible. I could not stop looking for green…sorry. But I enjoyed it immensely. Yhank you for a lovely colour challenge! https://lagottocattleya.wordpress.com/2021/03/08/waiting-for-green-life-in-colour/
I am lucky in that I look out onto green pasture all year round, now dotted with white sheep! Thank you for your excellent images.
Thank you for an excellent challenge!
Love Green for March – will try and get myself organised in the next few days
I’m sure you will be very busy with organising your own challenge! But I am interested to see what you might find.
I wish I was working on the challenge – instead it is mostly work and being pathetic because of a shoulder injury!! However I will find the greens I promise, and will try and find some unusual ones too 😀
Your voluntary work? And another injury? What have you done now?
Yes to the first, and overstretched in pilates on second. I know I’m hopeless!!
And then they say exercise is good for you ☺️
I know!!!!!
Green is perfect for this time of year. 😀 Love your photos.
Here is my entry for the week. I hope you enjoy.
Thanks Cee. Yes March should give us some spring greens.
