A bonus Green.
In this shady coffee spot in Lisbon there are several different shades of green, though they may not be the first colour you notice. Take a closer look.

Hi Jude, I like your photos. This post spoke to me.
Here is my entry for the week.
Thanks Cee!
Is this a quiz? Green doors (very cool), green post, and something green inside the one window. Yeah!! 🙂

Not exactly – just a reminder that we don’t always notice all the colours that are in front of us! But you have done well to see the lime green box in the window, but there are more greens in the picture 😉
I decided to look for unexpected greens. Thank you for the interesting prompt! https://anthropologist.wordpress.com/2021/03/25/life-in-colour-photo-challenge/
Thanks for having a look.
Nicely done Jude. It would be easy to just accept the first impression of red, and not look at the details.
The red stands out but there are many more greens. I wonder how much we miss.
It’s a really good point Jude, and I love how you’ve got us thinking and talking about it with your post.
I love those little kiosks scattered around Lisbon. I was incredibly lucky and was there for a conference in March 2020, just as Lisbon started to lock down. Great to get to a favourite city before travel ceased.
I’ve not been as subtle with the green as you, Jude: https://travelwithintent.com/2021/03/26/countryside-meets-city-centre/
Lisbon is a lovely city, one of those which is small enough to explore on foot, albeit a little hilly 😊
