A fishing harbour is a great place to seek out the blues. Blue boats, blue water and reflections of a blue sky.

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling. View all posts by Heyjude

Beautiful blues indeed.

You’ve chosen “to seek out the blues” even as most people try to avoid getting the blues.
I love watching the comings and goings in a harbour. We sat for ages when we were in Falmouth. It was so interesting.
I recognise this place! It’s great photo-worthy spot, and perfect for the blue challenge.
Oh, very mellow
This and my post on sand sculptures reminded me of a special Blue photo.
i like your blue harbour, the sea is always a good photo subject.
It is indeed and even better when blue!
Oh how fun are your photos. I so want to go to the sea side after seeing these photos.
Thanks Cee, some of these fishing villages are still rather lovely.
Marinas are special places; lots of colour, forests of masts and wildlife if one’s lucky.
This weekend was very hot and the views from this part of the coast path just seemed to fit this challenge.
Ah, yes. Seals in the harbour are quite a sight.
