For the month of AprilΒ I’m looking for benches with a view

If you would like to join in with the Bench photo challenge then please take a look at my Bench Series page. No complicated rules, just a bench and a camera required π
- Create your own post and title it Bench Series:Β April
- Include a link toΒ this pageΒ in your post so others can find it too
- Add the tag ‘bench series’ so everyone can find the benchesΒ easily in the WP Reader
- Get your post in by the end of the month, as the new benchΒ theme comes out onΒ the first Sunday in May.
My Picks of the Week:
Not only a wooden bench, but one with a view from Meg in Australia. I’m heading there now with my picnic basket. And she couldn’t resist another one.
Daily Musings captures her husband on a bench. Several times.
A beautiful spring view in Edinburgh from Debbie
Gilly takes us to a tranquil spot in Exeter.
Those of you who like owls, pop over to Elaine’s post
and if you have never seen a Kiwi then Julia has a treat for you, and a bench of course.
And for anyone who is interested this is my 400th post on this blog!
Great, I knew this theme was coming up, so took a couple the other day…will post later!
I’ll look out for it / them π
Megs second bench has a view with a WOW factor.
I was saving this bench for something, and it does have a view. But it’s of Charing Cross Station, unfortunately, so I picked a shot of the bench without the view…

Regards as always, Pete. x
I rather think you should have saved THAT one for the unusual category! I wouldn’t sit on it that’s for sure π
I have sat on it many times, and it is popular with tourists for photo-ops too.
Sorry about the category, but I have been hanging on to the link, and would no doubt have forgotten it otherwise…x
Glad to have seen it – I think – but then Oscar Wilde was quite a character in life so why should his tribute be any different? π
Here we are then, Jude, much more salubrious than Charing Cross station… : http://suejudd.com/2015/04/05/two-benches-with-garden-views/
Some benches with a view from my recent Lake District holiday.
A little sun. A relaxing stroll. A handy bench and a view.
I think I’ll try out the bench you’ve captured. β€ β€ Marvelous.
Lovely and warm then too π
Mm. Sounds scrumptious. I’ll be right there. π
I’m struggling to get rid of a bad cold so I could do with sitting on your bench a while today I think! Really looking forward to the rest of this month of bench with a view π
Here is mine: http://travelwithintent.com/2015/04/05/blue-mosque-benches-istanbul/
Hope you feel better soon. Head colds are the most energy sapping things. I’m looking forward to some delightful views this month too – shall pop over to Istanbul in a moment π
Lovely view, Jude. I’m sure I have a couple for this challenge. π
I hope so – probably with an alligator sunning himself π
