I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

A lovely time of year to go too. Always cooler there as you know, thanks to the marine layer, but this time of year, it always felt warmer, just right. I hear it’s up in the 80’s on the central coast where we used to live, way too hot for this time of year, and of course all the terrible fires down south. And here we are, nothing but rain! Thanks Jude, I did get a post out last week (was supposed to be my new year’s post, but at least I scraped in while it was still January, just!) and I hope to get back to a more ‘normal’ blogging routine, even if not as regularly. I need to do an update post though, will work on it! 🙂
