Up on the roof – the Living Green roof of the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. The Academy tested 35 native plant species to determine which would survive the best of this roof. Nine finalists were selected – both annual and perennial wildflowers to cover 90% of the roof.
