Life in Colour

To find out more about this year’s photo challenge here on Travel Words, please read this post.

This month we will be looking for Pink. A delicate colour that means sweet, nice, playful, cute, romantic, charming, feminine, and tenderness, is associated with bubble gum, flowers, babies, little girls, cotton candy, and sweetness.

What pinks can you find in your world?

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. Sunshine and pink? Expect I can manage that. Love the cabin doors and the California poppy. Happy Easter, Jude 🙂 🙂

      1. Who knows? Bit of a panic here as Marie was taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning. Good start to Easter 🙄💕

        1. She is the one you gave a lift to the hospital a week or so ago, yes? Hope she recovers. As you say, not a great start to the day. I guess you are missing all your easter parades.

  2. Oh no! When I was a girl, ‘pink’ was little better than a swear-word to me. ‘Sugar and spice and all things nice’ and all that. I’ve softened up a bit. But not much. Your images are lovely and not at all sickly-sweet though.

    1. Not my colour either, but there are all shades of pink so it doesn’t have to be sickly sweet. 😎

  3. A lovely pink collage Jude. Becky did pink squares a while ago so I may have to dip into my archives every now and then as my media file is getting close to full even though I am deleting as much as I can.
Might do one now to get started 🙂

    1. Archives are fine, these are all reused images. You could create a new free blog and upload photos to that one, then use the url to link to your main blog. I do that with images from my other blogs.

      1. That sounds complicated. I would need lessons for sure but as long as it is easy and doesn’t mean jumping about too much. I like my bushboy.blog handle

        1. You simply upload from url in your bushboy blog library. The url is the address of the photo. You’re right, it’s complicated to explain, but simple to do.

        2. So I start a new blog with some name but I can’t post from my bushboy.blog? Or the other way around. Store photos in the free blog and write from bushboy using a link for the photos? Ignore me if you want if it’s going to be a long lesson for a dummy
