This month we will be looking for Pink. A delicate colour that means sweet, nice, playful, cute, romantic, charming, feminine, and tenderness, is associated with bubble gum, flowers, babies, little girls, cotton candy, and sweetness.
“Anything is possible with sunshine and a little pink” ~ Lilly Pulitzer

Lovely selection! Will see what I can find!
I look forward to seeing what you come up with. Maybe a whole Galah? I never managed to get a photo of one of those, only a blurry shot of a flock in a tree! And these feathers.
One Galah coming up….https://hairbellsandmaples.com/2021/04/07/life-in-colour-photo-challenge-2021-pink-1-april/
Ooh, great!
Did you know that pink as the name of a flower came well before pink as the name of a color?
I didn’t. but how interesting.
Other color names have come from things of those colors, like chartreuse from the color of a liqueur.
I have ‘pinks’ in my garden, well I did.
So those flowers are not in the pink anymore.
They might if I remove another plant which has decided to grow on top of them!
Beautiful – so warm and happy: Pretty in Pink!
I will look out some pinks, too 🙂
My daughter’s favourite film when she was a teenager. I got her a copy for her 40th birthday.
Great choice for this month’s theme! I’ve been seeing pink everywhere.
Oh, good. I look forward to seeing some.
I must see what I can find
Should be some pink blossom around.
Great gallery Jude and that Poppy is a beautiful combination with the soft pink petals and dramatic centre. I was interested with the comments Re data in bushboys comment. I’ve just recently bit the bullet and upgraded as I ran out of data. Grrrrr they’ve changed the rules, used to be able to just buy extra, now you have to upgrade….😖
The OH bought extra data some years ago on one of his blogs as he wanted to upload music and he can still pay for that each year, but yes they stopped that option and you have to buy a plan now. I don’t mind too much as it stops those irritating adverts.
Yes getting rid of the ads is a big plus
Lovely little pink feathers and that pink flower at the bottom is gorgeous. Have to see what I can find here that’s pink. Might have to go archive dipping. 🙂 Happy Easter, Jude.

Pink Oriental Poppy and the feathers are from an Australian Galah – a rose-breasted cockatoo.
First everyone finds photos of washing lines, and now you are coming up with things that are pink. I have yet to see a challenge beat you. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete. x
Still a few washing lines left Pete. And this is my challenge so I have to find things, otherwise I’d be a very poor hostess!
Haven’t delved into the archives yet as this one hit me right between the eyes.
Who knows what I’ll turn up when I really start looking.
Well you are wearing a pink scarf so I assume you like pink! I shall be over to view that hotel now.
