This month we will be looking for orange. One of the most vibrant colours, orange is zingy and fresh. It’s a warm colour, friendly and inviting. Soft at dawn, but louder at sunset. From the palest of peaches and apricots through to copper, rust, salmon-pink and terracotta, the range of orange shades in the natural world is phenomenal.
“Colour possesses me.
It will always possess me.
That is the meaning
Of this happy hour:
colour and I are one.”~ Paul Klee

That quote is just perfect for how i feel about colour and orange in particular Jude!
What wonderfully warming oranges… perfect for warming as Autumn chills 🙂
Especially the very fine cat with her long, thick, fluffy orange coat – very smart! Our cat is an unusual marmelade orange colour, but as a feral cat who likes the rhythm her humans give of a filled food dish in her outdoor house, but dislikes getting near for any other purpose, I can’t imagine getting a decent photo of her!
Well if not a photo of the cat maybe some other oranges?
Indeed! There are so many warm oranges around, it’s a perfect choice for this month 🙂
Can’t beat a good orange. And here’s my favourite flower-wise:
So many oranges Jude. Wonderful colour for the month quite warm. My first is on the way. Just one to start and a double challenge post. Looking forward to this month 🙂 🙂
