Rainbow Lorikeet

Let me, O let me bathe my soul in colours;
let me swallow the sunset and drink the rainbow.”

Heyjude

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

        1. Sigh… you do know how to make me jealous.
          12C here and cloudy… just working up enough enthusiasm to clear up the patio before it gets dark.

    1. Beautiful birds. I remember clearly the first time I saw these colourful little parrots – on the balcony of a flat my son was viewing to rent in Macquarie Fields nr Sydney.
